These Terms of Service govern your use of TypeDrift, a typing practice and training application created by Anson Alexander. By using TypeDrift, you agree to these Terms.<\/p>\n

Use of TypeDrift<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift is provided for typing practice, typing education, and related skill development. You may use many free features without creating an account. Some features require a paid license, subscription, or account sign-in.<\/p>\n

Accounts<\/h2>\n

You may create or sign in to an account to sync progress, save settings, access paid features, preserve Accelerator progress, and use account-based features across devices. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity associated with it.<\/p>\n

Free and Paid Features<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift includes free typing practice features. Paid plans may include access to Accelerator, premium themes, certificates, and other premium features. Feature availability may change over time as TypeDrift continues to develop.<\/p>\n

Subscriptions and Billing<\/h2>\n

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Prices, billing intervals, and plan details are shown before purchase. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring billing according to the plan selected.<\/p>\n

Cancellation<\/h2>\n

Monthly and yearly subscriptions can be canceled at any time through the Stripe billing portal. After cancellation, paid access generally remains active until the end of the current billing period.<\/p>\n

Refund Policy<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift subscriptions are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or in cases where a serious technical issue prevents access to paid features and cannot be reasonably resolved.<\/p>\n

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using a paid feature, contact support at support@typedrift.app<\/a>. TypeDrift will make a reasonable effort to investigate and address the issue, generally within one week after receiving enough information to reproduce or understand the problem. If the issue cannot be reasonably resolved and materially prevents use of the paid feature, TypeDrift may issue a refund or other appropriate remedy at its discretion.<\/p>\n

License Keys<\/h2>\n

Some purchases may provide a TypeDrift license key. License keys are intended for the purchaser or authorized user and may not be resold, shared publicly, abused, or used to bypass TypeDrift\u2019s access controls.<\/p>\n

Accelerator<\/h2>\n

Accelerator is a structured typing course within TypeDrift. Accelerator access may require a paid plan and sign-in so progress can be saved and synced. Course structure, requirements, certificates, and features may change over time.<\/p>\n

Premium Themes<\/h2>\n

Premium themes provide additional typing content styles and practice contexts. Themes may be updated, expanded, renamed, or adjusted over time as TypeDrift improves.<\/p>\n

Certificates<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift may provide typing certificates for completed Accelerator tiers or milestones. Certificates reflect the typing data recorded by TypeDrift at the time of completion. TypeDrift does not guarantee that a certificate will be accepted by any school, employer, organization, or third party.<\/p>\n

User Content<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift may allow you to paste custom text or use external content sources such as Wikipedia. You are responsible for the content you choose to use. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use or that violates applicable laws, policies, or rights of others.<\/p>\n

Wikipedia Mode<\/h2>\n

Wikipedia Mode helps users practice typing with content from Wikipedia articles. TypeDrift is not affiliated with Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Foundation. Wikipedia content may be subject to its own licensing and attribution terms. TypeDrift may clean, format, or adapt article text for typing readability.<\/p>\n

Acceptable Use<\/h2>\n

You agree not to misuse TypeDrift. This includes attempting to interfere with the app, bypass paid access, abuse license validation, overload the service, reverse engineer protected systems, exploit bugs, or use TypeDrift for unlawful purposes.<\/p>\n

Progress, Stats, and Availability<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift uses reasonable efforts to save progress, stats, settings, achievements, and account data. However, no online or browser-based app can guarantee that all data will always be preserved. Clearing browser storage, changing devices, connection issues, software bugs, or account problems may affect saved data.<\/p>\n

Changes to TypeDrift<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift is actively developed and may change frequently. Features, designs, pricing, limitations, content, course requirements, themes, and availability may be updated, added, or removed over time.<\/p>\n

No Guarantee of Results<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift is designed to help users practice typing, but improvement depends on many factors, including practice consistency, accuracy, technique, device, keyboard, and individual learning differences. We do not guarantee a specific typing speed, score, certificate outcome, or result.<\/p>\n

Disclaimer of Warranties<\/h2>\n

TypeDrift is provided on an \u201cas is\u201d and \u201cas available\u201d basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the app working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, browser, network, or use case.<\/p>\n

Limitation of Liability<\/h2>\n

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TypeDrift and its creator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, inability to use the app, loss of data, inability to access features, or reliance on typing results.<\/p>\n

Termination<\/h2>\n

We may suspend or terminate access to TypeDrift if we believe a user has violated these Terms, abused the service, misused license keys, interfered with normal operation, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way.<\/p>\n
